Start Living
Having a home is the foundation for a good life. But in the U.S. alone, over half a million people sleep on the streets or in shelters at night. Only by giving homeless people a place to call their own can they stop surviving and start living.
OOH
Under Construction
While the offices are being transformed into homes, we’ll utilize the space on the construction wrap to let people know what’s going on.
Application Pamphlet
Applications to the program will be distributed outside of places people experiencing homelessness might be visiting, such as shelters and food pantries.

Ikea Employment
While some homeless people do have jobs, many of them struggle to get hired without a fixed address or the skills necessary for the role. IKEA will offer the homeless training and employment at their stores, giving them not only a source of income but a feeling of stability and dignity.
Partnerships
Ikea x Hello Fresh | Ikea x Better Help
Eating good food is not only healthy for you, but it also promotes the importance of self-care. We’ll partner with HelloFresh and stock these new residents’ fridges for a full year to get them started on a life of prioritizing their own wellness.
Ikea will also offer residents facing mental health and substance use disorders an opportunity to meet regularly with a Betterhelp licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) for support and treatment.
